Every K9 Service Dog team is trained and tested to ensure:


✔ Reliable obedience and manners in public.


✔ Ability to perform 3–5 disability-related tasks consistently.


✔ Successful completion of a Public Access Test (PAT).


✔ Generalization of skills across multiple real-world environments.


✔ Handler education for maintaining training and 

 

Every K9 Service Dog team is trained and tested to ensure:

Depending on individual needs, service dogs may be trained to:


  • Alert to seizures, cardiac events, or diabetic highs/lows.
     
  • Retrieve medications or essential items.
     
  • Provide balance and mobility support.
     
  • Interrupt or redirect PTSD or anxiety episodes.
     
  • Offer calming pressure and wake handlers from nightmares.
     
  • Support children with autism through tethering, safety, and redirection.
